Summary: ISA is looking for a forward-thinking, uber creative, experienced marketing manager to help drive the continued success of our event marketing for our annual tradeshow and several boutique events. Key responsibilities include managing cross marketing campaigns including planning and execution of strategy, tactics, tracking, data collection, reporting and performance analyses across marketing channels. Also responsible for project management, list strategy and copy writing.
Oversee and executes marketing campaigns for ISA Sign Expo and other ISA events.
Take the lead on Hubspot marketing automation platform for event marketing to ensure all content, including social media content, is posted and promoted in a timely manner, create appropriate workflows within the platform, update buyer personas, create email marketing campaigns, and track all results.
Manage, implement, and track all digital promotions, including creating paid advertising promotions, and ensure best practices are used for email promotions.
Develop a digital marketing dashboard to track the appropriate metrics and adjust the tactics based on performance.
Ability to analyze, evaluate and prioritize important communication/marketing opportunities.
Manages all performance analyses and optimization efforts across several marketing programs within the organization.
Responsible for project management of all pending and proposed marketing projects.
Manage budget for marketing including procuring print, design and web quotes.
Writes, edits and repurposes content (copy and photos) for marketing efforts, including websites and social media sites on a daily basis.
Create and manage content for ISA website (signs.org) and (signexpo.org) as well as manage web analytics efforts, reporting & analysis of cross-channel marketing campaigns.
Research and identify relevant new technologies, social networks, tools and digital marketing strategies to improve ISA’s marketing efforts.
Responsible for ISA internal design creation.
Work as liaison with internal departments for effective positioning and messaging.
Assist event and tradeshow team as needed.
Help develop RFPs as needed to solicit bids from vendors.
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent communication, marketing and interpersonal skills, including phone etiquette and verbal and written communications, required.
Excellent relationship-building skills for forging conversations and partnerships with key industry, non-industry, media and other partners/organizations, required.
Exceptional ability to use cross-channel campaign tracking planning, implementation & quality control to drive strategy, tactics, etc.
Exceptional ability to design, execute, analyze, and optimize digital strategy to drive attendance to ISA events/meetings, increase leads, build brand awareness, and enhance audience engagement.
Ability to think strategically and excel at driving the organization forward, required.
Excellent project management and organization skills. Ability to prioritize large volumes of projects and effectively see them through to conclusion, required.
Excellent MSExcel, PowerPoint, Adobe Indesign and Photoshop, highly preferred.
Excellent HTML skills and website/CMS editing, highly preferred.
Knowledge working with press publications to negotiate trades/purchases.
Knowledge/experience in communication/marketing strategies and concepts.
Ability to create communication/marketing opportunities.
Experience with AMS databases, particularly SalesForce.
Proven ability to work independently.
Ability to travel domestically occasionally, including weekends.
Education and Experience:
Looking for strategic, energetic and self-motivated individual to create, implement and execute organization’s digital and traditional marketing efforts. Looking for someone who can identify, analyze and prioritize potential marketing opportunities and determine how information should be disseminated. Individual must have exceptional data analytical skills, writing skills, strong communication skills and extensive digital marketing experience.
Minimum 3-5 years event marketing and digital marketing experience required. Association experience highly desired. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or related field preferred.
