Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Part-time Marketing & Communications Program Assistant for the Evanston campus.
Temporary Job Description:
The temporary Marketing & Communications Program Assistant position required to/responsible for the following:
Assists with email marketing
Assists with social media posts, research, and scheduling
Collaborates with manager on proofing, editing, and writing print material, blog posts, newsletter content, presentations, and other department communications
Maintains database with address changes, returned e-mails, etc.
Manages development letters for donors
Handles general office inquiries, both internal and external
Processes invoices when needed
Distributes materials across offices
Coordinates in-house and mass mailings of promotional materials
Assists with production of program documents as needed
Manages conference registration and coordinates logistics
Coordinates purchasing of exhibit materials – signage, tablecloths, brochure stands
Coordinates sponsorship and membership requests and renewals
A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
Must possess good communication and organizational skills.
Ideal candidate will be self-motivated and detail-oriented.
Candidate should be familiar with working in a mid-sized organization across multiple teams.
MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Adobe Suite preferred. Prior experience with CMS, Databases, and CRM is a plus.
