Marketing managers must have a strong understanding of the business model supporting provider relationships as well as all initiatives taking place across the enterprise. They partner with the UnitedHealth Network Marketing & Communications team to drive efficiency, consistency and collaboration across teams, and work across functions to execute agreed upon campaigns and materials. Primary Responsibilities:Create new marketing strategies and support efforts around existing strategies designed to build relationships with provider partners Understand and apply requirements for provider marketing materials and communicate that information to appropriate contacts Maintain collaborative relationships with marketing account managers, corporate provider network team, field provider network teams and operations Develop and execute activation and distribution plans for new materials Educate field teams on programs and materials, ensuring they are able to effectively communicate about them to provider partners Gain an understanding of the products, the different types of provider organizations and the contractual relationships between UnitedHealthcare and provider partners Work with vendors to execute on strategies and material development as needed Develop success measures and provide reporting on metrics to leadership Help to promote best practices for marketing and communications strategies to all stakeholders
Required Qualifications:3+ years of experience working in a matrix organization 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably focused in B2B or influencer Project management experience Proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Professional competency Thinking/learning skills: good judgment, decision making, creativity, strategizing Administrative skills: planning, coordinating, managing resources Communications skills: building relationships, leading, resolving, managing conflict Leadership skills: motivating, coaching, facilitating, influencing Motivating skills: goal setting, goal achievement Adjustment/Self-Management skills: handling stress, personal adaptability Analytical skills: ability to use data to determine resultsPreferred Qualifications:Health care experience Copywriting and messaging development experience Account management experience Experience managing a cross-functional task-force Proficiency in SalesforceCareers at UnitedHealthcare Community & State.
