Belardi Wong, a leading full-service marketing and creative firm, is currently seeking a Director / VP of Acquisition Services to join our New York City, NY team of professionals. This is an exciting opportunity with great growth potential.
Our "ideal candidate" is smart, strategic, proactive and driven! This individual must have 5+ years’ experience in a consultative role working in a client relations, co-op database, digital agency or retail brand environment with expertise in the direct and data marketing ecosystem. This individual will have a proven track record providing integrated multi-channel marketing solutions for retail, ecommerce, catalog, and nonprofit clients and/or within these industries. The ideal candidate must have a demonstrated ability to manage, coach, mentor and grow effective client relationship and account management teams.
This individual is responsible for providing data / customer acquisition strategy and integrated multi-channel marketing services to a portfolio of clients, growing and retaining business, as well as the training and development of client relationship and account management staff.
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Maintain and grow business relationships with existing clients to meet sales goals;
Maintain accuracy of reporting & integrity of customer service relationships with clients;
Conduct opportunity assessments as well as perform extensive data analysis of customer behavior and campaigns for major private and public retailers;
Provide print and/or digital marketing strategies to increase sales, store traffic, customer acquisition and retention;
Manage expectations and set goals for each team member while providing guidance, training, and benchmarks for all team members;
Develop and execute detailed integrated acquisition campaigns, oversee strategy, identify new online and offline acquisition opportunities, and develop new customer audiences;
Demonstrate enthusiastic evangelism and influencing leadership in new business presentations, strategy sessions, client review meetings, and attendance at conferences and events;
Support Net Revenue, Creation of FY budget for team and accountability to meeting revenue numbers;
Stay abreast of industry trends and technology advancement in the industry;
Overall management and retention of client accounts through leading multi-channel integrated marketing efforts and proactive problem resolution;
Liaison with Directors and other department managers;
Implement aggressive promotional strategies, complex sales event calendar, and responsive marketing to support financial objectives;
Supervise productivity benchmarks, operation and Net Revenue goals.
In addition, our "ideal candidate" has the following skills & experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university;
5+ years direct marketing agency, co-op database, digital agency or retail brand experience;
Demonstrated ability to acquire customers through social media outlets (i.e. Facebook, Twitter)
Skill in developing effective communication materials;
An enthusiastic communicator with a passion for influencing and motivating teams and clients;
Captivate clients through effective interpersonal interaction as a professional and in a courteous manner;
Ability to make timely, effective decisions and follow through on long-term goals;
Ability to maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail;
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint;
Understanding of company products and services;
Understanding of Belardi Wong's Data and Digital services;
Ability to think creatively.
