-Serve as main point of contact for communication between PVA, its’ database provider (Team Approach) and all of its vendors, agencies and other partners.
-Create master schedule of due dates for aspects concerned with the database (i.e., select instructions, file tapes to production vender, suppression tapes, regression counts, acquisition schedule, etc.).
-Instruct database provider in submitting, selecting and validating all mail files to ensure names are pulled accurately and mail dates are met. Support the account management team with items relating to data management/report issues.
-Investigate and provide modeling opportunities from internal and external sources for which the development team can better market the PVA donor database.
-Responsible for internal data management systems and training of PVA staff on the database for ad hoc queries.
-Develop merge/purge requirements and lot split instructions for acquisition mailings.
-Define, analyze, and optimize acquisition Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by source.
-Undergraduate degree with seven years’ experience in database management (fund raising preferred).
-Experience using data management tools and applying analysis techniques.
-Understanding of database marketing and analytics.
-Strong decision-making, judgment, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills required.
-Experience in multiple communication channels including direct mail, e-mail, social media, search engine marketing.
-Proficiency with Excel pivot tables and information systems.
-Working knowledge of Database software such as: Team Approach, Sphere, Sage, and Charity Engine.
