Boston University's Creative Services/Print Design division is looking for a talented, smart and savvy Graphic Designer to be an integral part of a comprehensive, creative team of Marketing Writers, Sr. Designers, Principal Designers, and Editors responsible for developing outstanding graphics and supporting the Universitys communications and marketing initiatives. If you have an eye for creating and designing high quality, visually compelling materials, extensive computer experience with graphic design software, and a special knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, we want to hear from you!
BFA or equivalent with 1-3 years as a graphic designer. A portfolio is required, along with knowledge of graphic design, typographic and marketing communications principles, print production processes, and web development.Expert in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Extensive computer experience including graphic design software with a special knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, Keynote and PowerPoint, a plus. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are required. Must be able to handle multiple projects under deadline pressure with grace and good humor. Stay abreast of state-of-the-art design techniques and technologies.
