We are searching for a Head of Marketing for a new college admissions consulting business. The business is being built by a player that is already a well established leader in the graduate school admissions space. As they launch this new offering, they are looking for someone to lead the branding of the product and then develop and execute a strategy for launch and adoption.

The challenge: Identify a marketing lead to brand and launch a college admissions consulting offering.
Location: The company is headquartered in Boston and would like the Head of Marketing to sit in either Boston or NY. The team works on a fully remote basis and this person could work from home on their own schedule with regular check-ins with the president/founder. This is ideal for a parent who prizes flexibility.
Define the brand and the price point
Develop a strategy to drive brand recognition and conversion among high school parents in target market (Boston or NY)
Execute marketing strategy
Step into admissions consulting role as necessary as the brand scales and dedicated consultants are hired
Experience with the college admissions process, most likely in a private school or highly selective high school setting
Excellent writing and editing skills
The ability to relate to both parents and high school students
Entrepreneurial skill and zeal to go out and make something happen
Minimal need for direction and a proven ability to work independently
Additional Salary Information: -$80K plus profit sharing
