Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing, the Marketing Specialist will support outbound marketing efforts and drive inbound marketing campaigns in support of PGME programs.
Specific Position responsibilities (not exhaustive): Works with the marketing and admissions team to increase yield. Communicates with a wide range of internal and external contacts to facilitate the dissemination of accurate and informative program-related materials. Anticipates and resolves problems; updates the team on the status of projects.
Take ownership of email marketing campaigns and communication; convert applicants into enrolled students.
Maintain email schedules.
Support the creation of automated lead nurture workflows.
Support the Senior Marketing Specialist with email marketing including developing email copy for outbound execution.
Support program info sessions and engage in inbound marketing communications.
In collaboration with the admissions team, converts applicants into enrolled students through targeted email campaigns.
Manage all marketing assets for content and program relevance and coordinate appropriate utilization based on where the student is in the enrollment process.
Function as the point person to receive and update CRM with leads generated in a variety of settings and from multiple stakeholders; notify team to take further action.
Support events and trade show activities including running the annual trade show calendar, coordinating HMS's presence, arrange for HMS staff to attend. Post event, the marketing specialist will be responsible to collect and enter all contacts made at the conference in CRM and notify team to take further action.
Coordinate and assist the graphic designer in producing relevant social media posts that are in sync with marketing campaigns.
Contribute ideas for the improvement of department processes and procedures.
Interface with internal departments on a variety of projects.
Conduct market research about consumer requirements, habits, and trends.
40 hr. per week / Monday - Friday

Minimum of 4 years of related work experience - education beyond secondary schooling may count towards the experience requirement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot or Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics, basic HTML and social media is required.
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field strongly preferred.
