Assist brand managers in creating, developing, managing, and evaluating marketing and communications strategies and initiatives that enhance Olin’s brand awareness and reputation in key markets and drive success of program objectives.
Working in concert with the brand managers and program and department teams’ goals to manage and execute marketing and communications initiatives against defined targets. All activities will enhance Olin’s brand awareness and reputation not just in key markets of business but nationally and globally, and ultimately drive success of the stated programs.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Brand Strategy: Work closely with internal clients and marketing team members to assist in the execution of marketing plans that support a brand strategy that drives intended to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
Project Management: Execute on tactics as defined in marketing plans for programs and departments. Following a defined creative process, manage projects that will include a multitude of channels and supporting materials. Includes development of timelines, budgets, and execution of deliverables, including obtaining the appropriate approvals. Deliverables of projects may include signage, video, collateral, website content, events, emails, letters, events, and promotions.
Competitive Research: Assist in research and analysis of competitors’ brand strategies and marketing initiatives.
Outcome Analysis: Understand the effectiveness of tactics against program and department goals.
Survey Support: Assist in conducting surveys, attending advisory group meetings, and analyzing feedback to support successful messaging for a variety of audiences.
College degree required and two years of related experience.
Marketing, public relations, journalism, or communications advertising preferred.
Experience in working with a team.
Excellent written, verbal and listening skills.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Ability to organize and effectively handle a variety of projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
Works effectively with a diverse group, including faculty, business leaders, alumni, students and staff.
Appreciation for customer service and true collaboration.
Creative, diplomatic, ability to maintain calm under pressure and fantastic interpersonal skills.
The hiring range for this position is $40,502 - $51,597 annually.
