As a strong leader and seasoned marketer, you will join the Digital Sales leadership team to help develop and execute an acquisition strategy to drive growth in credit cards and personal lending customers for the global leader in credit cards, and a formidable challenger brand in the Australian market. Reporting into the Head of Digital Sales and leading a small team of marketing specialists, you will have direct accountability for developing effective product positioning and creative platforms for all acquisition campaigns, and execution in offline channels such as TV, outdoor and radio. Your team will also be responsible for optimising our virtual shopfront for conversion as well as natural search rankings - including our public website, campaign landing pages and application forms.
Maximise new account growth
Develop credit cards and personal loans product positioning, personality, creative platform and key proof points for consistent communication across all awareness, preference, consideration and acquisition customer touchpoints
Manage creative development, media buying and execution of campaigns in offline distribution channels to drive new accounts with a keen eye on cost efficiency, employing best practices for acquisition through TV, outdoor and radio - and identifying new distribution channels to test.
Work with your colleagues on the Digital Sales leadership team to develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy with the optimal channel mix for growth
Support Head of Digital Sales to drive Cards and Loans Digital Sales strategy and develop go-to-market strategies that are in line with product and franchise strategic direction.
Leverage strong influencing skills to drive innovation and champion change with a robust, innovative roadmap to deliver against targets.
Be a thought leader & subject matter expert, using timely market data and conversion funnel insights to drive growth
Analyse and socialise campaign successes and learnings to inform future campaign/channel strategies
Set a vision for our virtual shopfront, employing best practice UX, UI, SEO and CRO techniques to deliver a seamless digital experience for prospects and maximise conversion to application
Team Management and Leadership
Motivate a high-performing team to deliver maximum quality and quantity of output in a fast-paced environment
Build trusted and effective working relationships with internal local and regional stakeholders, agencies and partners
Demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory environment within which we operate and ensure compliance with Citi's control framework at all times
Leverage the extensive data sources available to forecast accurately and communicate actionable insights within the team, as well as relevant business metrics to key stakeholders
Tightly manage a multi-million dollar budget
Negotiate and maintain cost-per arrangements with agencies
Marketing Education and Experience
Degree qualified in marketing, finance, business or similar, with a minimum of 8 years marketing experience, ideally in Financial Services within acquisition functions.
Demonstrate the qualities expected of a senior manager, using behaviour appropriate for the level of positional power. Acting as an advocate for the organisation.
