The University of Alabama is accepting applications from qualified individuals for the position of Strategic Digital Marketing Coordinator.
The Strategic Marketing and Digital Media Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of strategic marketing and digital media plans into the daily operation of the athletics marketing department and other entities of the athletics department. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: generation of revenue through the creation and administration of marketing and digital media plans for ticket sales for all tickets sports, merchandise, sponsorships and other department initiatives; effectively maintaining and execution of assigned email communication schedule; creation of needed content for targeted digital media channels (Social media, email, digital display, etc.); assist and maintain assigned reporting needs of digital efforts; execute marketing plans for assigned sport(s) with focus on engaging fans and reaching attendance goals; improving fan engagement within digital mediums which reach millions fans; and assist in overall athletics department efforts to enhance customer service. Under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Marketing and Digital Media, and the supervision of the Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing and Fan Development this position will be an active part of the department’s strategic marketing and digital media strategies.
Required Minimum Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Communications, Public Relations, Sports Management or other related field OR a Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Public Relations, Sports Management or other related field. Must be able to work nights and weekends.
